We were welcomed by Brad on arrival who has been very lovely to us. He helped us get a fire pit and even offered to make us one if he can't find any (he found us a lovely one btw)! He also made sure we were comfortable in our pitch. The ground is relatively flat throughout the campsite with some minimal slopes here and there.
The shower and toileting facilities were brill. Very well maintained. I think I only saw it "not pristine" (it wasn't filthy but there had been a lot of foot traffic) when a lot of new campers arrived for the weekend but it was cleaned right away within the next few hours.
A bit of a downside (but not for me personally) is the showers not having lights in the night. I personally liked this as people are then not using it from 8pm then I can have a peaceful shower with my camping light on. Water is at good temp!
I also noticed how hands on Brad was at helping the tent next to us put their tent up which was very very kind. It was above and beyond. Saying this, I felt like despite the warm welcome and friendliness in this campsite, our privacy has been very much respected.
There were beautiful cats and goats on site and a curious horse looking at us from a distance on arrival.
Overall it was a very good camping experience!!!

The best Thrifty Chique campsite ever!
We love this place!! Such a warm, safe and friendly environment for the kids and us.
Jay and Roger that run the place are absolute Gems!! There's hot showers / basic kids park / goats, sheep, chickens, guinea pigs that can all be fed / soft lovely grass for you toes / stunning location right next to the tin mines / fantastic community atmosphere. and all at an unbeatable price.
Look no further - you've found the best basic campsite we've ever been to!

This campsite is definitely worth staying at. It has a stunning view and the owner is really nice! The facilities are great, especially the showers. The place has two friendly cats which are so cute! My son also loved feeding the goats and rabbit there. We stayed in the glamping tent and loved it! You share the regular camp-site facilities but also get a private garden, fire pit and outdoor table n chairs! Whether you are backpacking or living it up, I highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic experience Glamping , the park is suitable for everyone. We had very youg kids with us and our staying was fabulous. If you looking for some romantic adventure I recommend the glampimg as is fantastic for couples, I myself was proposed this week and couldn't have chosen better place. The camp itself is fantastic clean toilets and bed sheets were really clean. Jay is a fantastic host and his parents that takes care of the animals around . We will certainly be back again . Out of 10 I recommend 100.
Restrooms: Cleanest toilets I have ever seen in a camping site.
Dog-friendliness: This site is an animal friendly in general, it was lovely for kids and if you an animal lover is even better.

We had a great stay at Parknoweth farm weekend just gone, toilets and showers were super clean, great spot to walk the coast path. You can tell how much hard work has been put into it and Jay is really friendly and helpful. Making friends with Toby and Jack was a bonus 😻

Really enjoyed our stay at Parknoweth camp site. We stayed in the bell tent and it was amazing. The private garden has stunning views of the sea and tin mine. We were also really lucky, whilst having breakfast on the patio, to hear the baby Robins in the elderflower bush being fed their breakfast. The showers were hot and clean. It was a very relaxing break.

Great campsite, short distance to local shops, basic toilets/showers, probably busy at times as only two shower rooms I think, but what else do you need camping? Nice and flat grounds. Definitely recommend. Friendly cat included lol.

Lovely spot! Small, quiet field close to the coast path. Jay the owner is fab!! V helpful. Welcomed me with a cup of tea and a chair after a long walk on the coast path. Helped him write his sign! See below.

I loved this campsite! Jay, the owner, was super friendly, accommodating and helpful. The facilities are very clean - and they have a lot of character because they've been built by him with recycled materials. The place is very well located. And they even have some chickens, so you can buy eggs in the morning! I'll definitely be back.

We stayed for a week at Jay and Lauren’s lovely campsite. It’s a beautiful location from which to get to St Ives and Lands End. There are also lots of interesting former mines within walking distance of the campsite. For £5 each per adult a night it was an absolute bargain. However, the best thing about our stay was Jay and Lauren themselves- honestly two of the friendliest, loveliest hosts ever! (As an aside, we went in the first week campsites could open and they did a really good job of cleaning the showers and toilets regularly, the shower scheduling worked well and there was plenty of hand sanitiser!)
Would 100% recommend.
